Anutosh Das

He is a graduate of Urban Planning from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and earned an MSc. degree in Urban Planning from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) as an ADB-JSP Fellow. To highlight his vivid professional career, he is an affiliated member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) as well as a Member of the Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP). He is an Editorial Board Member of the Planning and Development, Journal of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) and a Member of the exquisite Regional Science Association International (RSAI).

As an accomplished researcher and geospatial specialist, He bring over six years of extensive experience in applying remote sensing and GIS technologies to study land cover dynamics, human-environment interactions, thermal environments, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability. His significant contributions to the fields of urban thermal environments, carbon emissions, and sustainable adaptation or mitigation measures have been demonstrated through the publication of 43 peer-reviewed articles, garnering over 2000 citations. His research has covered a wide range of topics, including the impacts of land cover changes on urban thermal environments and implementing sustainable adaptation or mitigation measures to reduce the effects.

Dr. Abdulaziz Almulhim is an Assistant Professor of urban sustainability at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU), in the College of Architecture and Planning. Dr. Almulhim was awarded a Ph.D. by the University of Liverpool in 2020. He obtained a Master's degree from the University of Colorado Denver, and he obtained a Bachelor’s degree with honors from IAU (formerly Dammam University). Dr. Almulhim focuses his research on the field of urban sustainability, urbanization in sustainable cities, climate change, circular economy, water and waste management and land use and land cover changes. He has published over 25 articles in global high-impact journals. He serves as a reviewer and a chief guest editor for several reputable international journals.

Major General Md Siddiqur Rahman Sarker has served in different Command, Staff and other important appointments. He served as the Sector Commander of Boarder Guard of Bangladesh. He was the Director of Works & Chief Engineer (DW & CE) of Bangladesh Army. He Commanded the 14 Indp Engr Bde. He was also the Area Commander, Log Area. He was the Commandant of Military Institute of Science and Technology in Mirpur Cantt before joining at E in C's Br. He joined in Engineer in Chief of Bangladesh Army from 29 September 2015.
